Contempt
comic strips are available for reprinting,
subscriptions and special commissions.
Reprints
All of my cartoons are available for reprinting. Reprint fees
are based on a sliding scale: that is, pay me whatever you
think is fair for a publication of your size. Consider these
guidelines:
* Local publications: $5-$25 per cartoon.
* National publications: $25-$200 per cartoon.
* Commercial websites or large non-profit sites: $25-$150
per cartoon.
* Personal websites: I don't charge for using my cartoons
on personal homepages, but swapping links would be a swell
way to network. This here is www.incontemptcomics.com.
* Small non-profit activist propaganda: In other words,
spontaneous uprisings of people agitating against things like
war, racism, and so forth that need cartoons to liven up their
brochures, pamphlets and so forth. No charge; just
e-mail me for permission and with the specs you need (see
contact guidelines below.)
* For vanity's sake, I'd love a contributor's copy
of your publication, if possible.
Of course, you can ignore the above - I'll accept any offer
of $5 or above.
Weekly
Subscriptions
Of course, you really want to subscribe
to In Contempt, because you find it funny, insightful
and a great value to your readership. When you subscribe,
I'll email you a new comic strip by 9am PST every Monday.
(If you request it, I'll mail you two copies of the strip
each week, one formatted for print and the other formatted
for your website).
Subscriptions cost between $5 and $30 a week, based on whatever
you think is fair. You can pay for three months, six months,
or a year at a time.
For biweekly and monthly publications, email me and
we'll work something out.

In your email, be sure to tell me:
* If you want to recieve the cartoons formatted for print,
for the web, or both.
* The file format and resolution information necessary for
print and/or web.
* How much you'd like to pay.
* The email address you want the cartoon emailed to each
week.
* Information on where I should email, mail or fax you an
invoice.
* Any other information you want me to know.
I'll email you a print-quality image of the current week's
cartoon right away, and, as stated above, I'll email you
another cartoon every Monday morning thereafter.

Guidelines
To request a cartoon for reprinting, email me at nevikmoore@comcast.net.
In your email, please include:

The name and/or date of the cartoon you'd like to reprint
(see the archives).
* How much you'd like to pay.
* Information on where I should email, mail or fax you an
invoice.
* Preferred file format and resolution: Preferably, files
for printing would be 600dpi TIFFS, but if you prefer another
resolution or file format (say, 300dpi jpegs), just let me
know. I'll email you a print-quality image of the cartoon
right away. I highly recommend against printing from
the images available online; those images are set at only
72 dots per inch, and will print "fuzzy" and "bitmappy."
* Any other information you want me to know.
Commissions
If you'd like an original comic strip on the
subject of your choice, or an illustration for an article,
email me at nevikmoore@hotmail.com. Prices depend on the complexity,
dimensions and color usage of the cartoon you want, but in
general I charge between $35 and $500. Depending on my schedule,
I can usually send you the completed cartoon within a week.
