Kevin Moore is a cartoonist and a librarian living in Portland, Oregon with his wife, two children, and two dogs.
Kevin has been drawing cartoons since the age of four, when his nextdoor neighbor Kelly (a boy a couple years older than he) showed him how to draw a fist going “POW!” Since then, he has drawn many other things: dogs, lizards, drunken college students, people in various compromising positions, Richard Nixon, desert scenes, pigs in spaceships…. Yet despite his progress, he still finds the occasion to draw a fist going “POW!”
Kevin is also the creator behind Wanderlost, currently running at Modern Tales.
He is a member of Cartoonists With Attitude, a collective of cartoonists (read, herd of cats) dedicated toward advancing political cartooning beyond cheap gags and pointless topical references. Among other pet peeves. Don’t get us started on obit cartoons.
Kevin blogs too much. You can read his thoughts on whatever is bothering him, see pictures of his kids, find out updates on his cartooning activities and much more at mooreroom, his main blog (also mirrored at blogspot and livejournal.)
